What is the BSFZ Seal?
The BSFZ Seal is an official certification of proven innovation competence. It is granted to companies that can demonstrate qualifying research and development activities and meet the requirements for Germany’s Research Allowance Scheme.
The seal confirms that our development projects comply with recognized R&D standards and that we continuously invest in the creation of new technologies and innovative solutions.
Why Was Our Company Awarded the Seal?
The award is based on the development of an innovative overhead charging prototype for "Flash Charging via Infrastructure" applications, designed for battery-electric buses as well as electrified commercial, municipal, and special-purpose vehicles with charging capacities exceeding 700 kW.
The project focuses on next-generation power electronics modules utilizing advanced composite ceramic substrates for silicon carbide (SiC) semiconductor switching devices. The development builds upon technological expertise and research findings from the completed projects “HiDrive – Highly Integrated Traction Inverter” and “NetFlexum”.
The technology combines several advanced manufacturing and interconnection methods, including:
- IMS (Insulated Metal Substrate)
- MCPCB (Metal Core Printed Circuit Board)
- CAPM (Cold Active Plasma Metallization)
- Advanced PCB embedding technologies
By integrating these technologies, we are developing highly efficient, compact, and reliable power electronic systems for the next generation of high-power charging infrastructure.
