Description
The variables to be measured are fed to an integrated module via a compensation current transformer and a voltage converter. Here the instantaneous values of current and voltage are multiplied and converted into active power and active energy. A microcontroller takes over the evaluations, the output of the pulses and the storage of the measured values. The values are displayed on an LC display. The pulse output of active power input and output is realized via two S0 outputs.
The meter can be operated with the following supply voltage options:
Supply via measuring voltage with measuring range 200 ... 1,000 V DC
Supply via measuring voltage and external supply with measuring range 200 ... 1,000 V DC
Supply exclusively via external supply with measuring range -1,000 ... 1,000 V DC
The meter readings are stored even in the event of a power failure. They are protected against loss and manipulation.
The DC meter records
- a DC voltage (measuring range -1000V to +1000V) and
- a DC current (measuring range -500A to 500A).
The power and the energy consumption and output are calculated.
Operating mode: Meter with supply from 1000V
Here the voltage range is limited to 200V to 1000V for the calculation of the energy values, because the power supply at the input only works with positive voltage in the range of 200V to 1000V.
Operating mode: Meter with supply from a 24V auxiliary power supply (e.g. from 220V AC)
Here the full voltage range from -1000V to +1000V is available.
The device is equipped with a display.
All operating parameters can be set via the ModBus.
